Balanced diet

    Balanced Diet:
            As now people are running behind their works and have no leisure time to concentrate on their foods and health, most people have to go for fast foods which has no balanced food. It has mere taste and fat with no good in them. Most people are ignorant of this truth and go for their stomach filling with feast to their taste buds. 
    Diet is essential everyday to carry our daily activities. Are you aware that your diet is balanced one which meets your body daily requirements?  To have a clear knowledge about it you have to learn what is balanced diet and how to maintain.
        Balanced diet is the diet which should have all the nutrients in the required amount including the traces of elements.  Balanced diet should have carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and water.  
     For a day one person should consume carbohydrates and fats depending on the calories they need.  Carbohydrate releases approximately 4kcalories for one gram. Fat gives 9kcal for one gram intake.  Both carbohydrate and fat are energy producers. Other than these, protein is essential for our body to build up. Hence everyday intake of protein is essential. 
       Vitamins, minerals are very essential for body functions, hormone production and enzyme productions.  Micro-nutrients include anti oxidants, phytochemicals are essential for protecting body from radical reactions.  
      A well balanced diet should contain all these constituents in our daily food.  Here are some examples of food for a well balanced diet for different region of people.
